To decide on a bike is a massive step and a personal decision. After much research we decided that Kawasaki KLR 650′s would be best suited. Being single cyclinder dual-sport machines, their main appeals are their simplicity, reliability and ability to handle all terrains and the beating we will certainly be giving them.
And they are CHEAP!
Two KLR’s were bought in Australia and prepared and shipped from Melbourne. These were:
Adam’s 2001 KLR 650
Nick’s 2002 KLR 650
Mike’s 2008 KLR 650 was bought in Santiago after it had been used to follow the 2009 Dakar Rally.
